Dr .Chang is a member of the British Society of Maternal Fetal Medicine, British Society for Genetic Medicine, Fetal Genomics Group, Australian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine and International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.

Antenatal care provided by Dr Chang while you are pregnant can ensure that you and your baby are as well as possible. At scheduled antenatal appointment with Dr Chang, you will:

Have a risk assessment of the health of the mother and baby

Screening for chromosome abnormalities at 11 weeks or pregnancy using the first trimester NT ultrasound scan and non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT) Panorama test, screening for pre-eclampsia at 11 weeks of pregnancy and Level III Fetal Anatomy Ultrasound Scan at 19 – 20 weeks gestation performed personally by Dr. Chang , a Consultant in Maternal Fetal Medicine

  • Hysterectomy or removal of the uterus – open method or laparoscopic (key-hole method)
  • Ovarian cyst removal – laparoscopic (key-hole method)
  • Laser cone biopsy / loop excision / laser treatment of the cervix for pre-invasive changes in the cervix
  • Laparoscopy or minimally invasive surgery to visualise the inner abdominal organs of the female reproductive system and diagnosis and removal of cysts and / or endometriosis from the ovaries and fallopian tubes for treatment of sub-fertility or pelvic pain
  • Removal of uterus fibroids – open method or laparoscopic (key-hole method)
